The Banda Islands: Hidden Histories, Living Heritage
- Book Design,
- Editorial Development
The Banda Islands are unlike anywhere else in Indonesia. Remote, storied, and staggeringly beautiful, they've played a quiet but pivotal role in global history. With this book, we set out to share that story—one of clove-scented winds, volcanic majesty, colonial echoes, and extraordinary human resilience.
Created in collaboration with Kabar Media, The Banda Islands: Hidden Histories and Miracles of Nature was conceived as more than just a travel book. It's an invitation to look deeper. To see the layers beneath the landscape, and to connect the past with the present.
We led the full creative process, including:
- — Research and editorial development
- — Structuring and editing contributions from historians, journalists, and local voices
- — Curating imagery and sourcing archival material
- — Creating the book's visual identity, from cover artwork to layout
- — Designing the complete publication for both print and digital formats
The Banda Islands book now serves as a lasting cultural asset—a piece of storytelling to celebrate a place that has shaped the world in profound ways.
